I am a 33 year old virgin who has been unable to find a woman to have a proper relationship with including sex. I suffered from OCD from the age of 12 and had a wretched time at school. I live in the UK and I am currently on several dating websites (including Christian ones as well) in an attempt to change all this. I have been on dating websites for the last 18 months or so. There are websites which offer intimate encounters but I worry about catching std’s and HIV and also I’d much rather have a long term relationship. In my teens that is what I wanted but unfortunately life didn’t turn out that way.

i would say im glad to see your able to be a virgin in these times when sex is all over the place and people have sex on first dates so its nice to see some one that is not like the rest of the world. as far as dating websites i know from personal use and trying to meet women there they dont work too well. most dating sites even christian ones are people that lie to you to be honest. i think if your really religous and want to meet new people try a church and try to talk to some one if they have some sort of church get togethers. or go in early and see if you can set up things for the service. i have seen and heard many more people that were virgins and im glad to say your not alone at all. i would go see a therapist if you can or have money it may help you with your OCD. and i have not been in your situation as far as OCD goes but i understand what your talking about and going to a escort or a hooker is kinda scary not knowing the women and it could give you low self esteem. thats what i love about yahoo ask and answers you get a chance to talk to people with out being asshamed. i say make yourself better by dealing with your OCD and any thing else than maybe try to put yourself out there in life and some one will see you sooner or later, your still young enough to meet some one and get married but i know what your dealing with believe me. good luck with all you do. just know your not alone and that it will get better but you have to try.
