An agnostic view on the argument of atheists against Christianity
Religion as a whole has been under attack in recent history due to modern technological advances and ends that believers will to support their misconceptions of peace. I do not consider myself an atheist, but reject the tension is when self-identify with a religion. In short, I am one who believes that faith is individualistic in character he has. I think when you get a name religion for answers that you just find more reasons to discuss with the various sects. Although I do not speak on behalf of the 'believers atheists "(which no one irony?), which have played an important role in raising awareness of this contradictory set of beliefs that some Christians have committed their lives a. Next discusses the arguments presented by atheists against Christian nation, as well as discuss philosophical and scientific history that has led to the conclusion atheists that there is no God.
First, I define atheism. Encyclopaedia Britannica Online defines it as "criticism and denial of metaphysical beliefs in God or spiritual beings. "(" Atheism ") In simple terms, an atheist is one who denies any belief system involves a God. Atheism not only does not deny Christianity, which denies all religions. However, many scholars have written works that directly attack atheism to Christianity. Only one modern example of This is Sam Harris, who received a philosophy degree from Stanford and a doctorate in neuroscience at UCLA. Harris is the author of the letter book a Christian Nation, yen this book talks about some of the most direct and practical arguments presented to Christians by atheists. The argument daunting God does or does not exist immediately raises and said: "The Bible is the word of God or not. Either Jesus offers humanity the one, true path to salvation (John 14:6), or does not. "(Harris 3) This is the fundamental idea of atheism in its purest form.
With this basic idea has many arguments against Christianity. The most important of which are the contradictions that the Bible says. The Bible is the divine text that deals with the life of Jesus and outlines beliefs of modern Christians. Atheists do not recognize that the Bible is a divine work at all, but simply see it as the basis for all believers of the Christian faith wrong. They argue that the word of God contradicts many times throughout the Bible. Jesus preaches to be friendly with others, but only if the neighbor is a Christian. Now that is not right in the Bible, but it is this: "If anyone does not abide in me, he is cast forth as a branch and withers, and the branches are gathered, thrown on fire and burned. (John 15:6) "(Harris 13) translate into different languages however, that many would like, but ultimately it is not a message of peace all. This is just one example of the contradictions that make up the Bible.
Another contradiction can be seen very clearly in the midst of it, and that the Ten Commandments. The Ten Commandments play an important role in establishing the moral authority to Christian believers. Christians live their entire lives on the basis of these values, but at the root of these "rules" in which living in a contradiction. The Bible says repeatedly that those who do not follow the word God exiled, or stoned to death. At the same time, they profess that the Ten Commandments "Thou shalt not kill. (Exodus 20:13)" These ideas come into direct conflict with each other and that's something any student of logic should find to be very difficult to swallow. Atheists can not understand the cause of this madness and therefore denies all together.

"(McCormick) More recently you can see the influence of a godless lot of works studied by scholars Nietzsche and Camus. Both writers are renowned thinkers and are usually included in the curriculum of a class of literature on the subject of existentialism. Existentialism is a philosophy that the existence of questions. In questioning our existence many of these intellectuals include their ideas about religion, and most of them denied their integrity. These thinkers in the modern idea of atheism was derived from, and may be more prominent.
It was not only philosophers who are arguing against Christianity throughout history, many scientists were also some of the atheists in the first place. Before Nietzsche or Camus was Charles Darwin and his theory of evolution. This really did most of the company lay off the traditional beliefs of the religion and the question of whether there was indeed a god. Not only raised the question of whether or not there was a God, but presents the problem of how humankind came to exist at all. Darwin's argument is that we have evolved as a species get where we are today. This was the fuel it needs the fire to burn all the secular world. The book on the Origin of Species was the most famous work of Darwin and presented his research on the development of the theory of evolution. He was already well respected in the world of science and research was not unknown for most of people at once, but still some ruffled feathers of those who believed that God was the creator of man. Most did not deny his research, but founded belief that natural selection could be a product of God's power.
Harris refers to the scientific arguments in his book. Harris says, "All complex life on earth has evolved from simple forms of life billions of years. This is a fact that no longer supports intelligent dispute. "(Harris 68) basically who do not believe that evolution has occurred should be banned from this argument divinity together because they have the capacity for logical reasoning. Although the evolution is seen as a "theory" in the scientific community that has the merit due to its infinite amount of evidence supporting it. Therefore, if you are a that says that evolution never happened then is unclear who is being irrational and should not try to justify their beliefs with the same lack of intelligence. Evolution is an important part of the atheist argument against Christianity and has always been a subject of consternation for all religious figures, but to ignore a conclusion much support is delusional.
I chose this theme thinking that somehow I discovered something about my personal beliefs, but the only thing I've learned is that just rely on my heart in my search for religious convictions. Christianity is not the root of all evil, as some might claim it is, but should not be so intolerant in its forms. In addition, people who claim to be Christians, but simply ignore these arguments are being very naive. Although I am not Christian nor an atheist I found these arguments are very helpful in my search for a classification of the characteristics of my faith. Now I see there are many flaws in the Christian religion and that the only way that these problems can be addressed is through tolerance. The more tolerant than Christians can be beliefs of others, understanding others have more of their own. In turn, the most liberal atheists are presenting their arguments, the more people will understand its principles. In general, people should not accept self-condemnation will never be perfect, so I'm about individualistic view of faith. I am the one who chooses how to trust that there is a higher being watching over us; in one way or another we are in charge of something much bigger than our level of understanding.
