my boyfriend and i broke up after dating for just 7 months. We were sexually involved and very very close. The break-up was mutual. We both agreed that we weren’t right for each other. Now we want to be just friends but its hard/awkward because of our past together. any suggestions? We broke up because we have different religious beliefs/ non beliefs, hes agnostic and I’m christian. In the long run it just wasn’t going to work

if you still have feelings for him talking to him all the time [even being just friends] won’t let you move on. you’ll still want to be with.
if you’re over him completely then yea you can def be friends. if it’s weird at all. sit down and tlak to him about. if you were as close as you say you were then you should be able to have a genuine convo with him. tell him how you feel, that you still want to be friends and whats goin through your head. =]
