The Vatican are thinking of giving you another 7 deadly sins to keep up with the times. They list them as genetic modification, human experimentation, polluting the environment,social injustice,causing poverty,financial gluttony,and taking or selling of drugs.
I am asking this question mainly because I asked in a previous question why the church doesn’t update their ideas to come up to date with modern times and was answered with many people saying they don’t need updating, that they cover all generations. Do you think your god read my question and told the pope to have a look .?

I think those are decent sins to avoid don’t you? Are you sure they are adding them as “7 MORE *DEADLY* sins?” — I am going to have to look into this further. However, the church has been taking positions on the seven things you mentioned for years now. The environment being one of the biggest lately.
I can’t see anything wrong with it — but I also know where we stand on what you mentioned. Declaring them deadly really doesn’t change much as far as what we are directed to avoid.
