Currently a junior entering the senior year Average: 2.95 (A bit dated, is expect about 3.0 now) SAT: 1100/1600 – Returning to the course, the PSAT / practice tests indicated around 1400. Classes: Honors English 2, Honor of America, 1 Honours Social Sciences, some electives (mostly business), all other college-level classes. Extra-curricular – Sport Seasons 12, 6 varsity. The captain of the track. Business Club, came in the top 5 in New England for an action game. Invests independently (Not sure if you care about this) about 50 hours of community service. Other – Brother was there, could get two teachers that I wish were there to write some recs. The scores show an upward trend.
You can, but will definitely be a reach school for you. If I were you I would apply to some of the campuses of the University of Massachusetts others … Dartmouth, Boston, etc. .. Upward trend is good. They like to see that. And you really should recognize the trend and the state that have really made an effort to .. in his essay on the application. Definitely try to link most of its activities career or passion or plan to follow. Somtimes see a long list of activities really are not impressed – in fact, may have the opposite effect – the connection of all activities and classes in some way shows that you have (or at least can lie about) that has something to focus on and dedicate a. Also .. I know this is true for California public schools – I do not know if this is true of public schools, but MA students in the area of CA public universities are given preference. So if you live near Amherst .. you may have a better chance. Good luck =]
