How long does it take to receive benefits from the day you file?
i filed online for unemployment in the March 3 and still I do not know how much to get. my first date weekly archives benefit was March 8th and I presented the same, but its slope. anyway the time it takes from the day you file to know how much they will receive and if there are penalties. There may be a problem with your claim. I received notification within a week to recognize the presentation and 10 days stating the amount of eligibility, two weeks after saying it would a hearing, after 3 weeks at a hearing after two weeks to make a decision. I filed online in January 16 and have received nothing but letters since and I am in my seventh week of claim. Do not let this discourage you though. There are a lot of unemployment claims filed.
