Food stamps and taxes?
I recently got food stamps, and I am curious about tax info. I am still being claimed as a dependent by my mom, will that have to change now that I am on food stamps?
Also, does anyone know the food stamp distribution dates in New Mexico? I know it goes by your social security number, but I never received anything telling me the dates and I can’t find anything online.
Whether she can claim you will not change because you receive foodstamps.
However, if she is no longer supporting you, because you are not receiving all of your support from the government, then she may (or may not) lose her eligibility to claim you.
