please help – should I just move on?
I met this guy a few months ago online and we have been dating for about 5 months now. When we met he was stationed in Japan in the airforce and was on his way back to the states. When we finally met in person it was like a scene out of the Dear John movie. We fell for each other and although he had to leave to another state we talk and texed all day every day.
Well one day he called me and we found out that he was getting shipped to Diego Garcia on a last minute deployment. He was going to be gone for about 2 months. The first two weeks he was there he called and wrote me about once every three days. As the time went on its been longer and longer between contacts and now its been 3 week since I’ve heard from him.
I wrote him asking what is going on and have not got any type of response. Im not nieve and know military men are known for cheating but thats really not my concern. My concern is how could he just leave me hanging like this. I guess my question is should I move on?
For now, do not contact him. Wait for him to contact you.
Could be he’s on assignment, could me that he’s not interested.
Either way, the ball will be in his court since you were the last one to contact him and he hasn’t responded.
