Too many ‘Red Flags’ to date him ?

I have been talking to a really smart, funny and cool seeming guy online for two months. He is 34 and was engaged until last Fall (he broke it off because he didnt see himself with his fiance “forever”)
He lives 200 miles away from me in Boston so we haven’t met yet.
I checked out his entire background with his approval so Id feel safe if we met.
Problem is the more we talk, the more red flags I see. But ironically I keep finding myself caring about him A LOT
Red flags are that he has been fired from his last job and takes no responsiblity. He was fired from his first job ever.
He is not sure he wants to keep doing his current job (it involves use of his phd – took years to reach this level)
He isnt sure where he wants to live.
And its sounds like he is preoccupied with looks (mine and his)
I know this make him sound awful but he has such a sad little boy charm about him that I keep getting drawn in.
Is he the ultimate diamond in the rough or a guy to run away from ?

Sounds to me like he is afraid to commit… to anything. Start asking yourself if you think he would be able to commit to you if you were to get into a relationship with him.
