Redding, closest options for gay.?
I am looking to find areas with gay (male). I live in Redding, California, and only I want to know what options local-ish (if there is somewhere before the Sacramento / San Francisco). I've done online dating, a lot of strange people, the least none that match my interest in this regard. I would be willing to follow the advice of online dating, though (okcupid.com been, I do not care to actually pay for online dating, but … unless it's worth) just looking for a fun guy to have consulted some philosophy. Not much to ask … So someone knows gay-friendly places? Craigslist is a more common, but mostly just looking for sex, which is bleh.
Wow, I lived in Redding. Delighted to meet someone from the old 'hood. Ive no idea if still open, but not the Clover Club, which was a gay bar is fine. Pleasant, but for executives types and a bit sloppy. Then there was the men's draw, which was a complete dive bar. No more than 35 inside. He was one of those places where the bathroom smelled of sex and smoke of methamphetamine. Good luck!
