An Australian boy asks me to date him. How should i do?
I’m an Indonesian girl. I met him in an online dating site about 1 month ago.
He’s 3 years older than me. He always starts conversation for me, and never mind if i can’t speak English. And since the first time we met and we got on cam, he always be the first one to ask me to get on skype because he likes to see me. And a few days ago, he said that he likes me and he asks me to date him.
FYI, he’s 22 y.o. He’s a vocational student, and he likes to do race, smoke, and drink.
And the problem why i ask for help is : i do like him too (because he’s so kind to me), but i don’t like smoker, drinker and racer.
Can anyone help me to make a right decision? I really confuse because he said that if i don’t want to date him, then he will never ask me again.
The smokes and drinks instantly ring alarm bells for me. Not that i want to label everyone the same but a lot of the time, they tend to be the ones who can be all lovey dovey at first, but can temper up easily especially if they’re not getting their fixes. I think you may want to use just a little caution. I would still spend some time to get to know him well. A date is a date and not a relationship mind you, but i would be hard-pressed to enter a relationship with that kind of person unless they had the most amazing personality underneath or where willing to give up at least the smoking.
