Why does my computer crash when I watch movies on Netflix?
When I watch movies from Netflix instantly see a blinking error message with the institution of illegal except on top of it and my computer shuts down. This also happens when playing games like World Zoo and Treasure Isle on Facebook. I noticed when this happens I have to log all my online accounts that usually keep me connected. I uninstalled and reinstalled my graphics driver and made sure my Flash Player and Java are current. I've been trying to fix this problem for a couple of months and I'm about to throw my computer out the window. I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 Intel Core 2 Duo CPU 2.00 GHz 32-bit. This is a year and a half. I would appreciate any help! Thanks!
Well, here's the problem: Exception: Illegal Instruction, followed by the computer off, it usually indicates (in my experience) the CPU or GPU overheating. So, basically is putting the computer or the graphics chip for the overworked, and at some point there will be a subtle corruption of the data that the team is trying to run. Illegal operation is detected, and then turns off. Portable exacerbate this type of problem to have (usually) lower-spec graphics adapter (which causes the CPU have to work harder) and also require this hardware miniaturization overworked in a smaller space, increased density of heat. In my experience, especially Dell laptops are relatively underpowered and may be especially prone to overheating if it is adjusted to reduce the burden system. Vista and / or Windows 7 are generally processor intensive … For example, Windows XP. So more problems with overheating. What I would do is this: Take a look at the system computer technician to check for viruses and / or malware, and then do some removal of unnecessary startup items and make some adjustments to maximize the use of its limited CPU speed and / or system memory. If this does not help, try reducing the Windows theme settings to reduce the system load even more. EDIT: Aha! Here's the real problem. 'Given that up on Wikipedia. This laptop does not even * have * a dedicated graphics chip. No wonder overheating. Therefore, without reducing the system load, I imagine that your laptop will never be able to do something video work. ("Graphics processor:.
