Help learning the Russian language?
I am currently dating a girl from Russia. She is always speaking the language, and I think it’d be cute as hell to learn the language so we could talk in her native tongue. Call me a Romeo, but who cares? She’d love me for it. I have access to the Rosetta Stone software for free, but recently read a review of it that wasn’t so good… Can anyone give me an honest review of Rosetta Stone for Russian and/or provide another way of learning said language?
I’m using Rosetta Stone (for free as well, thank goodness, costs a friggin arm n leg) to learn Russian as well and I find it an easy way to learn. You get to intuitively pick up the patterns of the language so that’s a plus. There’s no harm in using it.
On the other hand, I find that a well-rounded approach to learning a language is best, using various sources. So RS is by no means my only tool for learning the language. I put a link in my source that’ll direct you to other ideas/websites for learning Russian.
