(to the culturally knowledgable) What should I do to impress a Vietnamese woman that I plan to date?
I’m a 24 year old male working in Oregon and there’s a very attractive woman that I like very much. I’ve been doing some research of Vietnamese culture online, because I’m probably going to start dating this Vietnamese woman that works in the same building as me.
What are some rules and guildlines that I should follow assuming I know nothing about Vietnamese culture?
Ok I’m Asian so I can tell you how to date Asian women. We’re really no different from women from anywhere in the world!
Give us a handsome man, who is kind to us, with good moral values, and well-endowed ‘tool’. Oh, and is that too much to ask of a millionaire?
Did I miss out anything? Basically, we want love, sex, money, looks, good character in a man. If you are really rich, we could discount a little on the looks factor though.
Vietnamese people hold extremely traditional confucionist values. Women have to be married to an older, richer man. They are expected to stop working after marriage and stay home to look after the family and do housework.
Tell her that you love subservient women and that you will support your wife financially after marriage. That will impress any Asian woman. Tell her you want to date her with a view to marriage in 2-3 years. Tell her about how filial you are to your parents, how often you visit them, how much you love them, what presents you bought for them etc. It’s impressive to us Asians because we know that white people aren’t particularly close to your families and that is not a good thing to us.
